  • ANTHONY-NORTHSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, INC.
    ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION

    ARTICLE I
    NAME

    The name of the organization shall be The Anthony-Northside Neighborhood Association, Inc.

    ARTICLE II
    PURPOSE

    It shall be the purpose of this non-profit organization to preserve and enhance the Anthony-Northside Neighborhood Association area by:

    1. Promoting and maintaining an organization for the advancement of low-density residential land use and the preservation and enhancement of the existing neighborhood character;
    2. Actively fostering communication, and encouraging cooperation among all parties concerned with the orderly growth and development of the neighborhood;
    3. Encouraging the equitable and effective administration of regulations which pertain to housing, land use, and development and related matters of importance to maintaining the quality and stability of the neighborhood;
    4. Taking action necessary to alleviate any adverse situation which may arise concerning the neighborhood;
    5. Encouraging pride in the neighborhood.

    ARTICLE III
    MEMBERSHIP

    Any person or organization residing or owning/occupying real property one (1) year or more within the area bounded by Wheeling Avenue, Bethel Avenue, Tillotson Avenue, and McGalliard Road shall be eligible for membership in the association. There shall be classes of membership and membership fees as set forth in the Bylaws of the Corporation.

    ARTICLE IV
    BOARD OF DIRECTORS

    A Board of Directors shall be responsible for managing the affairs of the Corporation, and shall be constituted and have such duties and powers as set forth in the Bylaws of the Corporation.

    ARTICLE V
    OFFICERS

    The Officers of the Corporation shall consist of a President, a Vice President, a Treasurer, and a Secretary, to be elected and to meet such qualifications as established by the Bylaws of the Corporation.

    ARTICLE VI
    MEETING OF MEMBERS

    At least two (2) meetings of the members of the Corporation shall be held annually as set forth in the Bylaws. Meetings shall be conducted for the purpose and in the manner prescribed in the Bylaws.

    ARTICLE VII
    AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLES

    These articles may be amended or repealed, in whole or in part, by a majority of the members present and voting at any duly organized meeting of the members of the Corporation.
